William Trainor
December 1st, 1922 - December 17th, 2015
William Paul Trainor, 93, of Viera, Florida passed away on Thursday December 17, 2015 with his family at his side. Born on December 01, 1922 in Watertown, MA to the late Thomas and Mary Trainor. After Pearl Harbor, Bill enlisted in the Marine Corps in December 1941, and served in the 1st Marine Division and fought at the battles of Guadalcanal, Cape Gloucester and Peleliu where he was wounded in combat. He was preceded in death by his first wife Janet N Trainor and all of his siblings. He is survived by his wife Betty C Trainor, his children William P Trainor, Jr, Mary F Trainor and Edward M Trainor. Daughter-in-law Anne Trainor and grandson Michael A Trainor and a large step-family. Beside his family, Bill's biggest passions were ballroom dancing and enjoying the company and conversation of friends. He will forever remain in our memories and hearts. A memorial service will be held in Massachusetts at a later date. The family would like to especially thank Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice and Viera Manor Assisted Living for all their outstanding care.
