William David Walsh “Bill” 10/7/1952 – 10/18/2022 Bill is preceded in death by his parents Harold & Lucille Walsh; brothers Harry Jr & Michael Walsh; niece Michelle & nephew Joey. Bill is survived by his wife Terry Hammond, sons Sean & Will Walsh Jr (Jamie) and two sisters Mary Lu Greear and Suzie Simmons (Fred); nieces Jeanne “Muffy” Lewis (Scott-deceased), Jenny Cunniffe (Chris) & nephew John Walsh. Bill was a retired motion picture cameraman. Bill along with his father & brothers made many movies together. Bill was very proud of his long film career; worked on several academy award winning movies: Escape from Alcatraz, Norma Rae, Urban Cowboy, Nashville, Bad News Bears, Nashville, Conrack, Thieves Like Us, Night Rider F.M., Black Sunday, many other films, documentaries & commercials. Bill was also a Paramount Studio television cameraman on shows: Mork & Mindy; Happy Days, Hart to Hart; Laverne & Shirley, A-Team; Dallas–just to name a few. He worked for Howard Anderson special effects-movie Annie. Bill was a member of his Union IATSE. He was the “kindest soul” & “nicest guy ever” loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Funeral will be held Saturday Oct 29 at noon at Beach Funeral Home, Indian Harbor Beach. A reception to follow at the home of Nathan & Yvonne Hammond; 2800 N Riverside Drive, Indialantic.
