William Robert Waterman
William (Bill) Robert Waterman, 63, of North Charleston, entered into eternal rest on August, 6th 2015. He is survived by his wife Maryann Waterman, his children: Robert, Amanda, Rachel and Timothy; nine grandchildren, three sisters and four brothers. Born on March 4th, 1952, in Laconia, NH, he was the son of William R. Waterman and Shirley (Lamper) Waterman. Bill was a trained meat cutter/butcher, where at one point, owned his own deli, a wild game processing business and managed the meat department for a large grocery store chain, eventually, making a career change to a commercial electrician. Bill retired in 2008 and moved to SC in 2011. He was a man of many talents that enjoyed gardening, landscaping, playing in a local pool league and boating. His favorite pastime was spent in his shed tinkering and building small furniture and other projects. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 72, in Alton, NH, where he coordinated fundraisers, membership drives and dinners. Bill and Mary were married on August 4th, 1984. They blazed a trail for 31 years of love and friendship that carried them from NH to SC. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Rodney. He leaves behind many relatives and friends with lasting memories. The family will have a celebration of life for Bill in SC and again in NH.
