Mr. William Lee “Bill” Weldy, age 80 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at Good Shepherd Hospice. Mr. Weldy was born Sept. 9, 1937 in Piqua, Ohio to Harley and Lily Marie Weldy. He was a Polk County resident of the past 30 years coming from Ohio. Bill was a retired Machinist for Bartow Machine Shop and enjoyed playing golf. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister – Janice and Brother – Ron. Bill is survived by; Wife of 28 years: Nancy Weldy of Auburndale, FL. 2 Daughters: Susan (Herbert) Mielke of Dayton, OH.,Peggy (Liz) Long of Sacramento, CA., Stepson: Patrick Klotz of Auburndale, FL., Brother: Harley Weldy of Redding, CA., 2 Granddaughters: Kristina Marie Mielke, Alayna Nicole Mielke There are no services scheduled for Mr. Weldy at this time.
