William Kesner Whitfield, age 78, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Billy is survived by his wife, Patricia; brother Jimmy; three children, Darri Hoffman, Billy Whitfield and Jerry Whitfield. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Wyatt Hoffman, Dayle Hoffman, Chasten Whitfield, Caden Whitfield, Sidney Whitfield and Isabelle Whitfield. William (Billy) served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Fogartyville Cemetery, 4200 3rd Ave NW. Bradenton, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations in William (Billy) memory may be made to: Alzheimer’s Association, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, 14010 Roosevelt Blvd., #709, Clearwater, Florida 33762.
