William 'Bill' Harter Wickman Jr. Resident of Concord California October 3, 1946-September 13, 2017 Bill passed away on Wednesday September 13, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. With Bill's strong personality, he was always mistaken as a cop. Bill has a big heart and had helped too many people with his technical ability, good wisdom and positive attitude. Bill was born in Stockton California, Studied at Ygnacio Valley a High School- major in electronics Diablo Valley College - major in Electronics, Lab and Theory Worked at Southern Pacific as signal designer Universal isotopes as Radiation Tech Quantum Electronics as General Manager Pinkerton and Acme security as Service Engineer. Bill enjoys fixing cars and motorcycle. He enjoys fixing stuff from electronics to mechanical, everything, even life problems of other people. They ran to him for his counsel. He is brilliant and a very intelligent man. Bill is survived by his loving wife; Vivian, children April and Cameron, step children, Paolo, Aurea and Roseanne and grand children. He is also survived by his brother Fred and sister Linda. Being a licensee and owner of a Residential Care Facility for Elderly Grand Oak Manor. He was loved by all our residents and their family. He is even loved by doctors and nurses because of his gentle spirit and kind heart and most of all his unique sense of humor. Friends and family are invited to a military memorial service on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 1 pm at the Oak Park Hills Chapel, 3111 North Main St. Walnut Creek, CA 94597.
