William "Bill" Harry Wride
July 3rd, 1958 - April 12th, 2023
William “Bill” Wride, 64, of Loveland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 12, 2023 from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. Bill was born in Hobbs, NM to Elson and Anna Mae Wride. The family moved to Tripoli, Libya when he was young. Bill and his twin brother, Don, attended high school in Lugano, Switzerland. Upon graduation, Bill returned to his parents’ hometown of Loveland, CO Bill graduated from UNC Greeley with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. He then achieved a Master’s degree through Lesley University. His passion for teaching led him to BF Kitchen Elementary School where he taught kindergarten for 29 years, retiring in 2019. He touched the lives of many families as he influenced young minds through education, singing, and playing the guitar. Bill is survived by his wife Christine (his “Beauty”) Wride, his stepchildren, Kylie and Jacob Lucio, his twin brother Donald Wride (Ginny) his sisters Kathy Shideler (Brian), Libbie Wride, Ellen Wride and his sister-in-law, Susan, many nieces and nephews, his Valley Christian Church family and his best furry friends Maizy and Gus Gus. Bill is reunited in heaven with his parents and brother Charlie Wride. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the organization Dementia Together, which was an incredible support for Bill and Christine during this journey. dementiatogether.org Services are planned for Sunday April 30th at 2pm at Valley Christian Church 697 Denver Ave, Loveland, CO.
