William Michael Young

A memorial service for William Michael Young, 47, of Columbia will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 at Royal Pines Independent Holiness Church, 141 Wynette Way, Columbia, SC 29229. The family will greet friends at the residence following the service. Young passed away Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital. He was a son of the late Louise Hooker. He was preceded in death by a sister, Diane (J.M.) Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Theresa Odom Young; sons, Zachary and Joshua Young of the residence; sister, Kellie (John) Jones; brothers Tommy (Janene) Hammond and John Lucas; and many nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband and father who had a big heart and will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a scholarship fund for his sons.
