Willie E. Floyd

Cayce – Willie E. Floyd, 89, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 19, 2023. He was born in Loris, SC and was the youngest child of the late Samuel Q. and Lessie D. Floyd. Mr. Floyd was a member of the Cayce United Methodist Church, the Friendship Sunday School Class, a Past Master at the Cayce Masonic Lodge #384 and the Springdale Masonic Lodge #412. He was also a member of the Cayce Eastern Star #130. He was retired from AT&T after 30 years of service and he was also a veteran of the US Army. Mr. Floyd was predeceased by his loving wife, Foy Floyd. He is survived by daughters, Debbie Floyd of Chapin, Judy Adams (Dicky) of Cayce, and Sandy McKown (Jody) of Greensboro, GA; son, David L. Floyd (Pamela) of Waynesville, NC; twelve grandchildren, Rich (Holli) Adams, Amanda (Adam) Harrington, Ryan (Cortney) Dickert, Ashley (Dallas) Anderson, Marshall Cook, Kasey Ness, Justin (Shelley) Labruyere, Jillian LaGreca, Matt (Rachael) Floyd, Drew (Jenna) Snyder, Cameron Floyd, Joe (Caroline) Mckown, Evan McKown; and fifteen great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the Cayce United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Meg Cook. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 10 AM – 11 AM. Following the service, the burial will take place at Celestial Memorial Gardens in West Columbia, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any of the following organizations: Cayce United Methodist Church, 1600 12th Street, Cayce, SC 29033; Cayce Masonic Lodge #384, 1701 12th Street, Cayce, SC 29033; Springdale Masonic Lodge #412, 1015 Springdale Road, West Columbia, SC 29107; SC Awareness and Rescue for Equine, Inc., 312 Shetland Lane, Lexington, SC 29073.
