Willliam Bill Linzbach
September 22nd, 1940 - May 12th, 2014
My Life Story William Henry Linzbach, 73, of Boise, ID went to heaven, May 12th 2014. Bill was born in Jamestown ND, to Henry and Anna Mae, September 22, 1940. He grew up in the small town of Pingree ND with his brother Matt and twin sisters Karen (Gainsforth) and Sharon (Neva). After graduating from Pingree High School and taking a cross country trip to California, Bill returned home and enlisted in the Army. He served from 1959 – 1962. After the Army, he enrolled at North Dakota State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business. In 1967, he married the love of his life, Luella Emmel and they spent 47 wonderful years together. They lived in Aberdeen SD, Fargo ND, Minnetonka MN, Bothell WA and Boise ID making friendships every step of the way. Bill loved his Catholic faith but mostly and forever he loved his family and friends. He was so proud of his three sons: Bill, Rich and Jon. He adored his daughter-in-laws: Amy, Sandi and Heidi, but perhaps most of all, he cherished every one of his seven grandchildren; Carson, Marcus, Gage, Danny, Jackson, Cooper and Lauren. Bill had a long career in the agriculture insurance business. He was a regional manager for The Mill Mutuals from 1980 – 1992. He retired from the agri-business in 2004 after 35 years of exceptional service. During his career, he made many life-long friendships that are still strong to this day. In retirement, Bill enjoyed playing golf with his friends and sons. He was a regular at Boise State football and basketball games (he was also two-time champion of our family’s Fantasy Football league). He never missed an opportunity to spend time with his grandkids or go to one of their games. He was always up for a game of cribbage or playing cards. He enjoyed doing yard work, watching the Mariners and staying up-to-date on political issues. Bill always loved adventure and jumped at any opportunity to travel or take a road trip across the country to visit relatives and friends. The time he spent with relatives on both sides of our family were priceless to him and the Linzbach family reunion last summer was a dream come true. Bill believed strongly in being an organ donor. In passing, two people have just received the gift of sight thanks to his donation. This was his way of paying forward the gift that his mother received many years ago when she received a cornea transplant that restored her sight. He is survived by his wife, three sons, three daughter-in-laws and seven grandchildren. He was the best husband, father and grandfather anyone could ever ask for. We will all do our best to carry on his kindness, generosity and incredibly positive spirit. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 19th at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 6300 N. Meridian Rd. Committal services will be held at 2:00 PM at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.

Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
