Wilma Gibbins 76, of Eugene, OR. passed away on Wednesday , February 20,2013. Funeral services are scheduled for March 4th at 2:00PM, 2013 at Emmaus Lutheran Church 1250 W 18th Avenue in Eugene, OR with Rev. Steve Carlson officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30PM at Lane Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 5300 W 11th St. Eugene, OR 97402Wilma was born July 16, 1936 in Hordville, NE to William and Anna (Joseph ) Meyer. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Polk,NE. On November 25, 1954 she married Delbert Gibbins at St. Johns Lutheran Church Seward, NE. They moved to Eugene,OR in 1956. Wilma liked to read, travel and spend time with her family and friends.She is survived by her children, Wanda ( Martin) Gangle, Eugene, OR, Bradley ( Cynthia) Gibbins, Springfield ,OR, and Bonita ( Mark) Vanderwall, Eugene, OR. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Jason ( Sierra ) Gangle, Kyle (Larissa) Gangle, Tashina and Grace Gibbins, Natasha and Marisa Vanderwall; 5 great-grandchildren, Cadence and Cassidy Gangle, Aeson and Jacob Gibbins, and Ezra Vanderwall; her sisters, Leora R Smith of Fairmont, NE and Louise Mueller of Norwood Young America, MN; and sister-in-laws Eileen and Viola Gibbins of York, NE. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Delbert; brother Laverne; sister Arlene and infant sister Luella.
