Wilma June Woodard
June 20th, 1935 - August 25th, 2018
Wilma June Woodard, 83, of Goose Creek, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of Grady Aulden Woodard, 87, for 68 years. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 11:00 - 12:00 p.m. June was a retired volunteer Red Cross school nurse, retail shoe and department store manager, substitute teacher, and a supervisor for an auto lubrication and oil center. She was a member of Northwood Church in Summerville. June was born on June 20, 1035 in Blount County, Alabama, daughter of the late Walter and Willar Cain of Oneonta, Alabama and daughter-in-law of the late Grady and Cora Woodard of Oneonta, Alabama. She enjoyed her family and friends, but most of all loved her son, grandson, and soon to be great grandson. Survivors include: son Micheal Aulden Woodard I and his wife Sheila and one grandson, Micheal Aulden Woodard II and his wife Emily. She also leaves two sisters, Margaret Burnett of Pelion, South Carolina and Frances Frachiseur of Snead, Alabama, nieces Debbie McCollum and Donna Fulmer of Pelion, South Carolina, Charlotte Purpura (George) of Susan Moore, Alabama, Susan Lindh of Bossier City, Lousiana, Cathy Lynn Gill of McAlester, Oklahoma, and nephew Jeff Frachiseur (Kelly) of Snead, Alabama. Graveside memorial was conducted by her grandson Micheal Woodard II. A memorial service was held at Simplicity (281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC 29456). Interment was a Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens (3044 Old Moncks Corner Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.)
