Mr. Windle Lee Dease, age 79 a resident of Auburndale passed away Tues. May 11, 2021 at home with family. Mr. Dease was born Dec. 3, 1941 in Troy, AL. to Charlie Evin and Bessie Mae (Williams) Dease. He was a Polk Co. resident for over 50 yrs. from Michigan. Windle was a retired Packing Supervisor for Coca Cola and a member of the Gold Wing Riders Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed Alabama Football, traveling and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers – William, Benny & Robert and 5 sisters – Odessa, Margaret, Wilner, Jean & Patsy. Windle is survived by his loving family, wife of 58 yrs. JoAnn Dease of Auburndale; son – Michael (Deneise) Dease of Auburndale; daughter – Kalisha “Randi” (Stephen) Ruthruff of Lake Wales; 7 grandchildren – Tiffany, Ashley, Michael, Alexis, Tera, Josh & Abby and 5 gt. grandchildren – Deon, Melanie, Destiny, Trinity & Madison. Visitation will be Thurs. May 13th from 6 until 8 pm at Kersey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Fri. May 14th at the funeral home with interment at Auburndale Memorial Park.
