Winifred "Winnie" Grace Shepard

Winifred Grace Shepard, age 81, of Perth, passed away Friday, August 30, 2019 at her home. She was born February 11, 1938 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Brace and Leona Eastman Shepard. She has been a part of the Lexington Family since the age of 25. Winnie loved animals, including horses and attending rodeos. She also loved watching "Heartland". She attended The Reformed Church of Johnstown each Sunday with her close friends Don and Kathy Nadler. Winnie is survived by a sister, Kathryn Insonia (Joseph) of Gloversville; two nephews, Joseph and Christopher Insonia; a niece, Jennifer Insonia; a grandniece, Raquel Zabawczuk; two grandnephews, Joseph Insonia and Anthony Papa; a great-grandniece, Harper Rocklin; as well as her Lexington Family. In addition to her parents, Winnie was predeceased by a brother, Fred Shepard. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10 to 11am Thursday, September 5 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville where a Funeral Service will follow at 11am. Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Lexington Foundation, 465 North Perry St; Johnstown, NY 12095.
