Yolanda Lopez Ignacio, 80, wife of Salvador Walton Ignacio, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. She was born in Looc, Romblon Province, Philippines on November 14, 1940 to the late Domingo and Atenea Tirol Lopez. Mrs. Ignacio was a member of Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and attended Christ the King Catholic Church. She loved to perform and entertain, often using her stage name Lani Lopez. Lani performed for various assisted living and nursing homes in the Orlando, Florida area. She was also a member of the Fab Follies in Orlando. In addition to her husband of 61 years, she is survived by her daughter, April (Mike) Butz, Lexington; her sons, Joe (Carla) Ignacio and Albert (Carisa) Ignacio, both of Lexington; her sister, Encarnacion "Inday" Hernandez, CA; grandchildren, Reena (Abel) Reyes, Dillon Butz, Samantha Butz, Taryn (Tim) Patrick, Kristina Ignacio, Connor Ignacio, Christian Ignacio, Amanda McClure-Ignacio, Jeremy Ball, and Kelsey Ball; and great grandchildren, Kedrick Cobo, Andrew Patrick, Aubrey Patrick and Ava Patrick. A private family service will be on Wednesday, March 23rd at Pax Christi Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
