Zachary David Bowers

Zachary David Bowers, 24 years old, of Graham, WA passed away on April 7th, 2018 in Graham, WA. Zach was born on November 16th, 1993 in Geneva, NY to Jeff & Carla Bowers. As a military child, Zach had the opportunity to see the world and build memories and friendships throughout his life. Zach attended Sumner High School from 2007 – 2010 and graduated Smithfield High School in Smithfield, VA in 2011. Zach returned to Washington State in 2013 and worked at Commencement Bay Corrugated in Orting, WA as an assistant machine operator, and attended college at Pierce College, Puyallup, WA. Zach enjoyed traveling, collecting celebrity autographs, going to the gym, and most of all enjoying his life with his family. Zach will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, his selfless sacrifices to the ones he loved, and his ambition to provide his loved ones with the best things in life. Zach is survived by his parents, his sister Shelby Bowers, his step-daughter Rylnn Arndt (Emily Seck), his great-grandmother, grandmother, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his faithful dog Buddy. A celebration of Zach’s life will be held during calling hours on Friday, April 13th from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Curnow Funeral Home, 1504 Main Street, Sumner, WA. There will be additional calling hours at Cheney’s Funeral Home in Phelps, NY on Wednesday, April 17th for those who loved him in New York.
