Zola Karen (Ramsey) Williams, 64, of Duffield, VA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 23, 1959 in Kingsport, TN, a daughter of the late Jack and Jane Ramsey. Zola was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ – Rye Cove. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mike McDavid and Doug Ramsey. Surviving are her loving husband of 48 years, David E. Williams; daughter, Christi Richmond and husband Hagan; sons, Mark Williams and wife Tonya, David Allen Williams and wife Terri; grandchildren, Courtney, Hunter, Holly, Cole, Lora, Aiyven, Cassie, Audrianna and Wil; great-grandchildren, Kayne, Allison, Chase, Carter, Parker, Carter, Mali, Kaylee, Brooklyn, Ashton, Bryleigh, River and Oakley; sister, Robin Dorton; brother, Wayne Ramsey and wife Brenda; several special aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Thursday, January 11, 2024 at First Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ – Rye Cove, 193 Cloud High Rd, Duffield, VA. Services will be held at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jimmy Hammonds officiating. Music will be provided by the Hammonds Family. Interment will follow in the McDavid Cemetery, Bishoptown Community of Rye Cove, VA. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends. Memorial contributions may be made to First Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ – Rye Cove, 341 Carolina Dr, Duffield, VA 24244 in memory of Zola. Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
