Zulema "Sally" Sally Duran
November 6th, 1918 - April 22nd, 2008
Sally Duran November 6, 1918 �" April 22, 2008 Residence: Greeley, CO Tribute: Sally Duran was born in Bueyeros, New Mexico to Abraham and Dorothea (Vigil) Garcia. She had 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She moved with her family to Colorado in 1924 and her father was one of the founding members of the Greeley Spanish Colony. She married Domingo L. Duran on July 20, l936, he preceded her in death on September 16, 1992. She was a devout Christian and attended Greeley Assembly of God (now New Hope Christian Fellowship). She was also a member of the group Warriors of the Faith. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed working in her flower gardens. Mrs. Duran died at her home on April 22nd surrounded by her loving family. Survivors: children, Robert Duran and wife Ruby, JoAnn Castle and husband Bill, Adolph Duran and wife Sharon, and Arnie Duran and wife Lesa. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; and a brother Alvin Garcia of Greeley. Preceeded in death by: parents; husband; three sisters and two brothers. Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Monday April 28, 2008 at New Hope Christian Fellowship Church. Visitation: 3:00 �" 6:00 p.m. Sunday April 27, 2008 at Adamson West Chapel. Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens Note: Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado c/o Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
