Betty Clowson, age 93, passed away on May 28, 2014 in Sarasota, FL. Preceded in death by her parents, Hyman and Mocey Finkelstein; husband, Alex Clowson; son, Ricky Clowson; brother, Henry (Rose) Finke; friend and companion for 12 years, Bill Large. She is survived by her son, Ronald (Marilyn) Clowson; daughters, Wendy (Jerry) Feinstein and Tammy (Herbert) Breymaier; grandchildren, Laura (Brian) Packert, Melissa Clowson (fiance, Ben Stansbery), Cary (Lovisa) Romanoff, Douglas (Melissa) Wohlstein, Lindsee (Hiawatha) Street, Jessie Breymaier, Herbert R. Breymaier, and; great grandchildren, Isaiah and Tatum Street and Alex Wohlstein daughter-in-law, Rita Gottesman; numerous nieces and nephews; longtime and loyal friend, Michael Shackett. Betty was a longtime resident of Bexley. She was a Real Estate Agent associated with Knolls Realty and Re/Max East Realtors and past President of B'nai Brith. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, June 1st at EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main St. with Rabbi Avi Goldstein and Cantor Jeffrey Siegel officiating. Burial will follow at New Agudas Achim Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at Cong. Beth Jacob, 1223 College Ave. Columbus on Sunday from 4 - 5:30pm and on Monday at the home of Tammy and Herbert Breymaier from 6 to 9 pm with Minyan at 6:55pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Bexley High School Ricky Clowson and Kneeland Costello Memorial Fund c/o Columbus Foundation, 1234 E.
