Peter Feliciano
December 17th, 1957 - December 10th, 2017
The family of Peter Feliciano announce his peaceful passing on Sunday, December 10, 2017, after over a year long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Elsa Feliciano, along with his three adult children, Desiree, Peter Jr., Maria Elena, and his grandchildren Janelle and Javier. Peter was born on December 17, 1957 in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. It was here he met and married his high-school sweetheart, Elsa. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for over 23 years, and during this time received a Bachelors of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics. In 2000 he was promoted to Senior Master Sergeant. Always mindful of his family’s well-being, he decided to retire and end his military career instead of moving his family as the promotion required. He was brave and unwavering in battling cancer since his early 40s. Later in life, he became a follower of Christ which brought him strength and peace in trying times to come with his second and third bouts of cancer. He was a loving and devoted husband, a generous and providing father, and a playful and fun-loving “Papa.” He has left a lasting example on how to do the right thing, be a humble person, and love unconditionally. His kind-heartedness and laughter will be fondly missed by his loved ones.
