Lt. Colonel Fred P. Adame USAF Ret.
September 12th, 1938 - May 18th, 2021
Fred Paul Adame Lt. Col. USAF (Ret), passed to heaven peacefully, after a lengthy illness 18 May, 2021. He is survived by four children, seven grandchildren, four step-children and six step grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Carmen Glazier Adame. Fred grew up in Queens, New York attending high school at Xavier High School in Manhattan He loved wearing his uniform and sword while riding the subway to school and continued in uniform at Holy Cross as a member of Air Force ROTC graduating in 1960 with Bachelor of Arts and commissioned in the United States Air Force. While serving our country for twenty five years Fred saw combat in Viet Nam and received the Bronze Star for meritorius service, graduated from Harvard Business School with an MBA and enjoyed and loved his children and family as they moved from base to base He was also a Life Member of the United States Power Squadron holding many offices at all levels of the boating education organization and teaching Celestial Navigation to boating students. Now he continues in heaven on the celestial horizon. He will be missed by all who knew him as he was a loving father, Popa, husband and friend. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 24, 2021 at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 5655 Stadium Parkway, Viera, Florida 32940. Family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 AM till service time. Burial will be held at the Cape Canaveral Veterans National Cemetery in Scottsmoor, Florida at 2:00 P.M.
