Emily Nora McCarthy

Emily, 82, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, in Melbourne, FL. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Mac, and their children Tim and his wife Dana of Lake Worth, FL; Kellee and Russel of Caldwell, NJ, grandchildren Justin, Daniel, Shaun, Sienna, Tyler and Chase, niece and nephew Suzanne and John. Emily was an exceptional wife, mother, aunt and friend. She worked full time, then, became a stay at home mom for her children. She cared deeply for family and her friends. She came to Florida with her loving husband to retire in the warm fresh air, enjoying days on the golf course and evenings with friends. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. John’s church for many years. Her greatest joys were visits from her children and even more so her grandchildren. Family was important to her and she always reflected on the fond memories of those near and far. Emily is now reunited with her parents John and Marie O’Sullivan, her Aunt Ina, her brother and sister-in-law John and Barbara, and her nephew Kevin. Visitation will be 11:00 to 12:00 P.M.. March 8, 2022, followed by a Memorial Service at Beckman Williamson Funeral Home 5400 Village Drive Viera, Florida 32955. The Reverend Joe Long will be officiating at the service. Following the service there will be a graveside service starting at 3:00 P.M. March 8, 2022 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery 4425 US 1 Mims, (Scottsmoor) Florida 32754.
