May 5th, 1938 - April 20th, 2013
Herbert Geigle, 74 of Aurora, CO peacefully passed on April 20, 2013. Herbert was born on May 5th 1938 in Sarata, Romania. His family came to the United States in April 1952 and settled in Turtle Lake, ND. In 1956, he joined the US Navy and served honorably until he retired in 1972. Upon retiring from the Navy, he took up carpentry and built homes in Bismarck, Arkansas, and Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Immanuel and Marie, and brother Artur. He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine of 56 years; his beloved daughter Michelle (Sam) Rediess; his siblings Emil, Otto, Erika, Erwin; his sister-in-law Janice of Turtle Lake, his grandchildren Rebecca, Malissa and Abigail; and his 7 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 9:00 am, Thu. 4/25/13, Gateway Christian Church, 14700 E Mississippi Ave. Aurora, CO 80012. Graveside services will follow at 12:15 pm at Fort Logan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Porter Hospice.
