Nancy Fogleman Thompson passed away Wednesday July 22, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday July 25, 2009 at Cane Creek Friends Church in Snow Camp , NC with burial to follow at Cane Creek Friends Church Cemetery. Mrs. Thompson was born April 10, 1928 to the late William Pleasant and Ressie Johnson Fogleman. A native of Greensboro and a graduate of Greensboro Senior High School (Now Grimsley), she also attended Woman's College (Now UNCG) and was a member of Magnolia Street Baptist Church. She was employed by Atlantic Coast Conference for 43 years, retiring in 1997. She was the assistant to commissioners James H. Weaver, Robert C. James, and Eugene F. Corrigan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Junie P. (Tot) Thompson. Survivors include a son and daughter in law John P. and Virginia McAdams (Lynn) Thompson of Greensboro; three grandsons, Taylor Thompson, Caleb Thompson, and Joshua Thompson all of Greensboro. Granny was greatly loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends Friday evening fro 7- 9 pm at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
