Mrs. Drewlea B. Sneed, 72, of Greensboro, died Friday, March 27, 2009, at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday at Bethel Baptist Church with the Reverend Vernon Gales officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mrs. Sneed was born in Lexington, NC, to Andrew and Margie Bivens. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church for over 35 years, the Ladies Prayer Chain and in her younger years she sang in the choir. Mrs. Sneed is survived by her daughters, Debbie Sneed Burleson (Rollin), of Reidsville, Susan Sneed Moore (Robert) of McLeansville, and Hope Elizabeth Manring, of Elon; sons, Rick Sneed (Wanda), of Pleasant Garden, and Danny Rufus Sneed of Greensboro; sister, Brenda Lira; brothers, Sammy Michael and Junior Bivens; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 430 W Friendly Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27401.
