Rebecca Combs

Rebecca Lee Combs, 18, died September 19, 2010 in Guilford County. Rebecca was a senior at NorthEast Guilford High School and she lived with her grandparents, Ernest Roscoe Combs and Dorothy Jeanette Leonard Combs, at 6753 McLeansville Road, McLeansville, NC. Her parents were Lyle Edgar Combs and Tammy Lee Waldrop. The Funeral Service will be at Friendship United Methodist Church on Thursday, September 23, at 11:00 am. The internment will follow the service at Friendship United Methodist Church's Cemetery. Rev. Tim Drum will be officiating the service with the assistance of Rev. Rick LeBaube. Rebecca was survived by her parents and grandparents; sister, Ashley Irene Combs Martin; brother Bryant Edgar Combs; aunts and uncles; Lavinia Combs and Thomas Blackbear'e, Sabrina Combs Soyars and W. Roger Soyars, Leslie Ann Waldrop Simmons and David Simmons; maternal grandparents, Attie Irene Fox Waldrop and Paul Eli Waldrop; 3 cousins, Ernest Dermont Combs, Zane Thomas Combs, Randall William Soyars; and 4 nieces, Mercie Martin, Jasmine Combs, Julie Roy, Lily Roy and and her fiancée Eric Loflin. Rebecca was preceded by death by her Great Grandparents, Ruth Agnes Brooks Leonard and Edgar Dermont Leonard and a close friend Christina Lumley. The family will receive friends at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 22, from 6 ' 8 pm and at other times at the grandparents' home.
