Steven Edward Myers
August 7th, 1955 - October 17th, 2014
Steven Edward Myers, Sr., died on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Wesley Long Hospital. Steven was born August 7, 1955 in Guilford County to William Edward and Mary Elizabeth Hill Myers. There will be a graveside service 2:00 p.m. Monday October 20 at Lakeview Memorial Park with the Reverend Mark Robertson officiating. Steven enjoyed fishing, watching his Duke Blue Devils basketball team and what put a smile on his face more than anything was being with his children and grandchildren. They were his pride and joy. Steven was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Riggs Myers; a daughter, Rhiannon E. Myers; a son, Steven E. Jr. and wife, Christen R Myers; two brothers, Richard D. and Kenneth W. Myers; two grandchildren, Logan M. and Austin D. Myers. Steven has many other family members, too many to name. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 1:00 p.m. in Lakeview Memorial Park's Chapel. Memorials may be made to: St. Jude's Children's Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or a charity of choice.
