Vivian Marsh Miller
September 11th, 1927 - January 27th, 2014
Vivian Marsh Miller, 86, died January 27, 2014 at her home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, 3600 West Friendly Avenue, Greensboro, with visitation to follow. A native of Guilford County, Vivian was the youngest child of Andrew Merlin Marsh and Sarah Lamecie Key Marsh. She graduated from Bessemer High School and had a career in insurance, retiring from Ohio Casualty Insurance. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, the Eclectic Sunday School Class, and the Powlas Deal Circle. Vivian was a long-time camper and an artisan who enjoyed quilting and wood-carving. She had a wide and devoted group of family and friends who enjoyed her liveliness, kindness, and wry sense of humor. She is survived by children Donna Nance and her husband, Mitchell Klopper of Atlanta, GA; Lamecia Bingham and her husband Robert Bingham of Clearwater Beach, FL; Lynn Foust and her husband Larry Foust of Madison, North Carolina; Scott Miller and his wife Glenda Miller of Newport News, Va; son-in-law Paul Worley of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren Rachel Marsh Klopper, Cassidy Ray Bingham, and Stephen Dylan Bingham; sister Nellie Marsh Wilson, and brother Reid King Marsh. She is preceded in death by her husband of 13 years, William Marcus Nance, her daughter Marsha Nance Worley, and her husband of 40 years, Mack Dewey Miller. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church, Emergency Assistance Fund at the address above.
