July 4th, 1952 - April 25th, 2013
Mrs. Susan Dean Wessells, 60, of Greensboro, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Bob Hamilton officiating. Burial will be at St. Andrews Episcopal Church at a later date. Mrs. Wessells was born July 4, 1952, in Independence, VA to James A. Dean and the late Bertha Moretz Dean. Mrs. Wessells is survived by her husband, Stephen G. Wessells, of Greensboro; father, James "Jimmy" Dean, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sister, Kathy Dean, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; beloved companion "Shadow" and numerous friends and relatives. A reception will be held at the home of Barbara Andrews, 6301 Stone Gables Court, Jamestown, NC following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Guilford County Animal Shelter, 4525 W Wendover Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27409.
