Mrs. Helen Edna Morgan, 89, of Greensboro died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Golden Living Center. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 4th at Lutheran Church of Our Fathers, 3304 Groomtown Road, with Pastor Mike Hoffmann officiating. Mrs. Morgan was born in Brooklyn, NY to Louis and Helen Menger Clarke. She was married to the late Donald M. Morgan and a member of Lutheran Church of Our Fathers. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Morgan and son Donald Morgan Jr. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Morgan is survived by her daughters, Barbara Gaffney, Joan Morgan, Maryellen Morgan, and Gloria Morgan; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407. Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home is assisting the Morgan family.
