Walter Miller

Walter Gray Miller, 76, died March 29, 2011 surrounded by his family. Mr. Miller was born on July 21, 1934, to Lauritz and Pauline Miller. He was a loving father and husband as well as a very hard worker with his career illustrating this as he started out working in the oil fields and worked many years as a truck driver. He had a great love for his 7 dogs which comforted him during his latter days. There will be a Memorial Service 7:00 pm Tuesday April 5, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 5736 Inman Road, Greensboro, Dr. Rick Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the church's fellowship hall. Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service is assisting the family. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Larry, Ted, Jim; and a sister, Marion. He is survived by his wife, Donna Miller; his children, Gregory, Cathy, Walter, Jr., Terri, Debbie, Randy, Ed Miller, Donna Madden, Julia, Christa, Angela Foster, and Karen Tyre; his brothers and sisters, Richard, Felix, Mary Ellen; and 12 grandchildren.
