June 24th, 1938 - March 15th, 2011
Mr. Levi Miller Sr., 72, of Brown Summit, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Walter Botts officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mr. Miller was born June 24, 1938, to the late Anderson and Donnie Edwards Miller. He was a retired Captain with the Greensboro Fire Department, a deacon and member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 48 years, Christine Harrison Miller; sons, Levi 'Milton' Miller Jr. (Lynn), of Stokesdale, Jonathan 'Brooks' Miller (Melanie) of Brown Summit, and 'Jason' Wendell Miller, of Gibsonville; brothers, 'Billy' Earl Miller, of Wilmington and James 'Kenny' Miller, of Greensboro; granddaughters, Amanda 'Brooke' Miller, Callie Renee Miller, Jordan West, and Hannah Miller. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Friday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Levi and Christine Miller Online condolences may be made to www.lambethtroxlerfuneralhome.com
