Barbara Mooth
September 20th, 1922 - February 25th, 2011
Barbara Boyle Mooth, 88, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital after a brief illness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born in Chicago, IL, she moved to Greensboro with her husband and family in 1961. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Circle at St. Francis Episcopal Church, where internment in the columbarium will be held 3:00 pm Friday, March 4, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Raymond, and her parents, Florence and Frank J. Boyle, Sr., sister Virginia Mooth and her husband George, and brother Frank Boyle and wife Pat. She is survived by her daughter, Karen M. Harllee, son Thomas A. Mooth and wife Linda, granddaughter Katherine M. Newsom and husband John, great-grandchildren Kayah, Lucy and Jonah Newsom all of Greensboro, and sister Betty Merrick and husband Ralph of Vero Beach, FL. The family wishes to thank Dr. Walter Pharr and the staff of Moses Cone Hospital for their attentions and many kindnesses. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis Episcopal church or to donor's choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service.
