Cueselle Bennett Barber, Jr., 83, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Park with full military honors with Reverend Jeff Scronce and Reverend John Jarman officiating. Cueselle was born in Danville, Virginia on April 9, 1935 to the late Cueselle Bennett Barber, Sr. and Margaret Catherine Thurman Barber. He was married to Natalie Carol Mason Barber on February 16, 1954. He worked as a construction supervisor, had served his country in the National Guard and was a member of Rankin Baptist Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters, Deborah Patton, Wendy Barber and Jessica Lauren Schnupp; son, Mark D. Barber and wife Sandra, Thomas B. Barber and wife Lynne; brother, Perry Barber and wife Betty Jo; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Lambeth-Troxler Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
