William Elliott Agee
December 22nd, 1973 - June 3rd, 2018
Swansea - William Elliott Agee, 44 of Swansea, SC formally of Lynchburg, VA passed away June 3, 2018. He was the son of Roger Lee Agee of Gladys, VA and Chief Thelma Davis Hamilton of Swansea, SC. He was the stepson of Charlie Hamilton whom William said "he was the best stepdad anybody could have and he loved him very much, as well as the stepson of Joan Agee and Kay Hodgson". Before injuries caused him to be disabled, William was well known for his "specialty shop", Willie's Auto Body and Paint in Lynchburg, VA. He had earned many trophies from different states for his painting. He loved the water and boating with his family and friends. His last days were shared taking care of all of the animals on Mom's mini farm. He was always helping others and never knew a stranger, as all were his friends. William was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Agee, adopted sister, Tracey Barrow Agee, and step daughter, Brittny Hackett. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children; Blake Campbell, Dustin Agee, William Agee, Jr., Nicole Agee and two step children, Jesssie and Casey Hackett; and step grandchildren, Jayce, Trinity and Kaydyn, along with his ex-wife, Bonnie Hacket all of Lynchburg, VA. He leaves behind his beloved brothers; Mark Agee (Sharon), Lawrence Agee (Angie), Clint Agee (Crystal) and their families and Joel-Ray Ballard all of Virginia, a sister; Rhonda Reynolds and step-sister, Annette Mayhew of Virginia and their families. Also surviving is an aunt, Debra Thornhill of Swansea. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 5662 Red House Road, Rustburg, VA 22458 with the Rev. Steve Kidd officiating.
