Samuel Arthur Tolliver was born on October 21, 1937 to the late Samuel Arthur Tolliver and Mary Etta (Lawrence) in Penllyn, Pennsylvania. Samuel graduated from Ambler Senior High School. At a young age Samuel worked at an insurance agency and later was employed as a bus driver at Trailways Bus Lines. Samuel spent several years working at Spring House Leasing Company as a mechanic repairing and painting large semi-trucks. He later worked with youth at the county youth center prior to retirement. Samuel is known for his passion of restoring old cars and trucks. His great work is on exhibit at East Greenville, PA Fire Station. During his failing health Sweet Sue requested to spray paint his 1967 GMC and he chuckled and said “Thanks but No Thanks”. Samuel married the love of his life Susie W. Tolliver on July 30, 2000. Together they enjoyed travelling (by water, air and land), gardening, landscaping, building koi fish ponds, and loving on their grand and great grand babies.
