Kelly Sue Anderson

Kelly (Anderson) McCormack, 58, of Hilton Head, South Carolina went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 30, 2018. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on March 11, 1960 to Frank and Margret Anderson. She graduated from Lincoln High School. She also graduated from Drake University where she was member of the Delta Gamma sorority. She was married to Bill McCormack in Hilton Head on September 5, 2015. Kelly was a generous and caring person who always put others before herself. In Hilton Head Kelly volunteered to serve meals to those less fortunate and she was involved with the Hilton Head Humane Association. Kelly liked to experience new places. She took chances, moving cross country, because she loved adventure. She was lucky to travel the world. Kelly’s favorite place was the beach and she loved to bring her family with her. She took great joy from her family and loved spending time with them as well as many dear friends in Hilton Head and the Philadelphia area before moving here. She was a consummate professional sales person. She spent a good deal of time of her professional life employed by Boise Cascade and Office Max. Recently she was employed by several technology companies in the low country. Kelly’s infectious smile and zest for life will be greatly missed by her family. She is survived by her husband Bill McCormack; sisters Kathy (Lee) Larsen, Jana (Sharon) Anderson, Shari Anderson; nieces Krista (Brady) Jackson, Courtney Larsen, Anna Anderson; nephews Tyler (Heather) Larsen, Jeff (Rebekah) Anderson; three great nephews; and three great nieces. The children in Kelly’s life brought her a tremendous amount of joy. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Anderson, and mother Margret Anderson. Friends will be received from 10 am to 10:30 am Friday, September 7 at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am.
