December 22nd, 1958 - July 25th, 2014
A graveside service for Benjamin Russell Amstutz, Jr., 55, of West Columbia will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, August 1, 2014 at Southland Memorial Gardens. Pastor Don Bell will officiate. The family will receive friends at 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073. Mr. Amstutz passed away Friday, July 25, 2014. He was born in Sumter, South Carolina to Mildred B. Amstutz and the late Benjamin R. Amstutz, Sr. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who cared deeply for his family. He took care of his mother, and made sure that she didn't want for anything in this world. He worked for Benton Trucking Company for 15 years. He was a wonderful person who will be deeply missed. He will forever be in his mother's heart. He is survived by his mother; sister, Rita F Amstutz of Columbus, OH; Aunts, Dorothy Duggan of Lexington and Betty J Duggan of Lexington; 3 nieces and nephews, Brenda Amstutz, Bruce Lee Amstutz, Aubrey Amstutz; great nephew, Jerry.
