September 7th, 1938 - January 21st, 2018
Lee L Kier, 79, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away January 21, 2018 at Providence Hospital, in Columbia SC. She was born on September 7, 1938 in, Inchon City, Korea to the late KA Ye KIM and IL NAM YI. Mrs. Kier married her husband Eldon on April 15, 1964. Lee is survived by sons; Eldon (Kim) Kier of Elgin, SC., Jim Kier of Charleston, SC., and Max (Kim) Kier of Irmo, SC. She also has five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Kier. The family will receive friends at the Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Interment will be in Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC on Thursday January 25, 2018 at 1 p.m. Pastor Choong P. Kim will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Columbia Presbyterian Mission Church located at 2235 Legrand Rd., Columbia, SC., 29223.
