Linda Salazar
May 11th, 1945 - January 12th, 2012
Linda L. Salazar (Baca) , age 66, passed away at her home in Thornton, CO on Thursday, January 12, 2012. She was surrounded by family and friends. Born May 12, 1945 in Denver, CO. Linda was married to Ray in 1968. And had three beautiful children, she was a loving wife and grandma. She was also a professional ballroom dance instructor for many years; she was a wonderful dancer, both her and her husband competed in many competitions, and shared forty-three loving years together. Linda was truly loved and admired by many friends and family. She was full of class and known for her red hair and long nails. My mother is dancing with the angels now; she will be missed so very much!! Survived by husband, Raymundo Salazar, sister Virginia Baca, of Thornton CO. Beloved Mother of Ranee Salazar (John). Rana Salazar (Dee Dee), and Ray Salazar (Celani). Grandmother of Liandra Norwood, Jason Norwood Jr., Alexia Ray Salazar, Tierani Diamanti, and Austin King. A Prayer for Linda, Remember Only My Best. When I come to the end of my journey And I travel my last weary mile, Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned And remember only the smile. Forget unkind words I have spoken; Remember some good I have done. Forget that I ever had heartache And remember I’ve had loads of fun. Forget that I have stumbled and blundered And sometimes fell by the way. Remember I have fought some hard battles And won, ere the close of the day. Then forget to grieve for my going, I would not have you sad for a day, But in summer just gather some flowers And remember the place where I lay, And come in the evening When the sun paints the sky in the west, Stand for a moment beside me And remember only my best.
