Joseph "Joe" Robert Clarke
Joseph (Joe) Robert Clarke, born July 21, 1962 of Dorchester, SC passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was the son of Roy Clarke and the late Mary Bedford Clarke. In addition, he is survived by his sister Kathleen Laughlin (Bill) of Bellingham, Washington. His partner and soulmate Cheryl Connor and their two (canine) children, Justin Case and Louie. Also survived by Aunt Carol and Uncle Melvin Millar and many cousins. Joe graduated from Sussex County Vocational School in Sparta, New Jersey. He was employed by Nelson Printing of Charleston, SC. Joe was loved by many and considered a loyal friend to all. He was a bargain hunter, enjoyed selling at the Ladson Flea Market and loved camping, kayaking, and being outdoors. He was an avid race fan, and frequented many race tracks throughout the years. Joe never met a stranger. The celebration of life will be at Old Fort Baptist Church, 10505 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485 on Friday, March 2, 2018. Visitation from 2:30 – 3:30 pm, service will begin at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Fort Baptist Church.
