Joan E. Eldridge
August 31st, 1954 - September 20th, 2023
Joan E. Eldridge, age 69, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 after a 2 ½ year battle with ALS. She was born August 31, 1954, in Montclair, NJ, the daughter of Elizabeth (Marley) and Henry Eldridge. Survivors include her husband, Roger Baker; children, Loren (Courtney), Kaili (Kevin), Hilary (Eric), Randy (Katye), Shannon (Brian); her beloved grandchildren, Charlotte, Olivia, Kaia, Adeline, Braden, and Jenna; her brother Ronald (Diane); and all her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Eldridge, her mother Elizabeth, and her sisters Linda and Judy. Joan was a loving mother and wife and doting grandmother. She was a devout Catholic who found peace and joy in her relationship with God. Through her fierce determination during her battle with ALS she became a member of the Order of Carmelites Discalced Secular of the Holy Spirit. Joan also touched many lives and souls both throughout her career as a cardiologist and in her retirement. Her hobbies included fly fishing, golfing, traveling, painting, and shopping. She will be missed beyond measure. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Ave Maria Catholic Church in Parker, CO at 11:00 am, Friday, September 29th (9056 E Parker Road Parker, CO 80138) Rosary will be held thirty minutes prior, from 10:30-11:00 am. Private family burial will be held in Saint Simeon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Joan had requested donations be made in her name to the ALS Rocky Mountain organization at www.alsrockymountain.org.
