John Raymond Carnell John Carnell, 69, passed away on August 4th, 2022, in Littleton Colorado. John’s winter residence was in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. John was born in New Castle Delaware on June 22, 1953 and moved to Colorado with his parents and siblings in 1970 where he graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. John pursued a career as an electrician and worked for Sturgeon Electric for the entirety of his distinguished career. John was known for his humor, opinion, and fun sarcastic personality. His personality would fill up the room with a booming voice and laugh. You could always count on a good story from him wrapped in adjectives to make the story more colorful. John was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family doing a remodel or home project making sure the “homeowner” did things right. John was an avid Harley Davidson rider who traveled throughout the United States and Canada. He especially loved to see the fall colors of Colorado on his bike. John explored the world taking many cruises and trips – everyday was an adventure. John was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Teresa Carnell, sister Amy Carnell, and father-in-law Herman Hranchak. He is survived by his daughter Karen Sue Fuhr and her husband Dan and grandsons Alexander and Sebastian, her mother Victoria Carnell, his mother-in-law Marsha Hranchak, and siblings Janie Tow, James Carnell, Mary Shepler, Sara Nichols, Paul Carnell, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends. The family of John would like to invite you to a celebration of life on August 20th from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm at the home of the Carnell’s in Centennial Colorado. Plan on leaving your sadness and tears at the door and sharing your favorite John story-we know there are many.
