Elizabeth "Liz” Young, 87, of LaSalle, CO passed away December 4, 2017 at her home in LaSalle. She was born on February 12, 1930 in Cedar City, UT to Edward and Harriet (Scehnet) Matheson. On December 29, 1950 Liz married Robert Young in Las Vegas, NV. She is survived by her two sons, Bob (Cyndi) Young of LaSalle, and Steve Young of Eaton, CO; granddaughters, Tia (Josh) Cunningham of Aurora, CO, and Tiffany Hartley of Evans, CO; and 3 great-granddaughters, Harper, Hannah, and Emily. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; and 3 sisters. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at Adamson Life Celebration Home in Greeley, CO Memorial contributions are suggested to "Alzheimer’s Association” in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634 To leave condolences with the family visit adamsoncares.com.
