Phillip Jon Dempcy 47, of Greeley, CO died Thursday, February 8, 2018. He was born February 4, 1971 in McCook, NE. He moved to Sterling, CO in 1971. Phillip attended schools in Sterling, and Denver and graduated from Greeley West high school. Phillip participated in Special Olympics. He resided in Greeley for 30 yrs. Theresa Cure of Bridging Families, has ensured his healthcare and Kay Krueger his unofficial adopted mother, enriched his life when she welcomed him into her home and devoted care. Phillip is survived by his parents Bruce and Joan Dempcy three brothers Casey, Russell (Kristen) and Mickey (Desiree) Dempcy and sister Judy Dempcy, all of Sterling. Also Aunt and Uncle Dick and Doris Khulman of Westminster, CO and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ruthe and Eldon Hanna, Jack Dempcy and Robert and Nina Brandt. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Adamson form 1-3PM on Thursday February 15, 2018, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634. Memorial contributions may be made to "Special Olympics” in care of Adamson Funeral &Cremation, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 800634.
