Donald C. Shupe

Don was born in Greeley, CO to Glen and Edith (Eckhardt) Shupe. Growing up he developed a passion for racecars and semi-trucks. During his racing career with his beloved 1955 Corvette, he won several races and set many speed records, one of which was a World Record. He was a successful business owner and enjoyed a long career with his trucking company. His greatest accomplishment was his large and loving family. He enjoyed having his family over for the many yearly traditions they created together. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karen, daughters Dawn Huff (Don), Robyn Schutte (Brett), Randee Harris (David), Connie Rose (Ryan), and Suzi Larson (Steve). Sister Glenda Mast, brother-in-law Duane Baker, and his beloved aunts and uncles. Grandchildren Ashley, Cody, Shawn, Steven, Donnie, Cameron, Brandon, Mike, Ian, Nadia, Jade, David, Hayden, Cooper, Devin, Dustin, Courtney, and Trint. Eleven great-grandchildren, and his adored cat Concho. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Glee. Don’s family would like to extend appreciation and gratitude to all the loving medical staff that cared for him in the last several months of his life. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Thursday April 12, 2018 at Adamson Chapel. Life celebration Service will be held 2:00p.m. Friday April 13, 2018 at St. Paul’s Congregational Church, 1525 43rd Ave, Greeley.
