Kenneth Lee Schott
August 11th, 1928 - November 8th, 2009
In loving memory of Kenneth L. Schott Kenneth L. Schott, 81, of Greeley, CO died Sunday, November 8th at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado. He was born August 11, 1928 in Eaton, CO to August and Amelia (Winter) Schott. On January 22, 1950 he married Beverly Whitmore from Eaton, the love of his life. He farmed for 15 years in the Eaton area and was employed for 10 years at Simplot Crop Productions, 10 years at Agland and 15 years for Centennial Ag Supply. He was a devoted husband and loving father. He loved fishing, playing with his grand-dog Rowdy and beating his daughter-in-laws at cribbage. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Schott of 60 years; sons, Douglas Schott and wife, Brandy of Lancaster, CA, Dennis Schott and wife Angelika of Windsor, CO, David Schott, Dean Schott and wife Jennifer all of Greeley; grandchildren, Kimberly Schott of Waco, TX, Kevin Schott and Kelsey Schott of Lancaster; sisters, Barbara Schott, Kathryn Beyer and husband Vern of Sidney, NE; brother, James Schott and wife Janice of Littleton, CO; adopted daughter, Tina Zimmerman and adopted grandchildren, Hannah Lane and Emily Gustafson all of Breckenridge, CO. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy Claus; and uncle, George Winter. A public viewing will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 4:00 �" 7:00 p.m. at Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley. A private memorial is scheduled for a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kenneth L. Schott Memorial Fund in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
