Rebecca Ann Richards

Rebecca Ann Richards, 40, of Windsor passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2019 while on vacation in Mexico. She was born January 18, 1979 in Sterling, CO to Buzz and Mary Richards and grew up in Otis before moving to Greeley. Becky attended Greeley schools and graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1998 and from CSU with a BS in Mathematics in December 2001. On December 24, 2001, she married the love of her life, Eugene Berta in Las Vegas at the Little Chapel of the Flowers. Their daughter, Ellen Richards Berta, was born on March 15, 2010. She worked in the field of education, most recently as a Student Advisor for CSU Mathematics Department. In addition to being completely passionate about her family, she enjoyed swimming and being with her friends. Survivors include her husband, Eugene; daughter, Ellen; mother, Mary (Ron) Graves; father, Buzz (Xiuru) Richards; siblings, Rob (Jennifer) Richards and their children, Wyatt, Everett, Rowan and Graham; Angela (Adam) Peter and their children Morgan and Taylor. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill. Life Celebration Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Adamson Life Celebration Home.
