Beverly C. Schott
July 5th, 1930 - September 17th, 2019
Beverly Corinne Schott, 89, of Greeley, CO passed Tuesday September 17th at Garden Square of Greeley. She was born July 5th, 1930 in Darlington Missouri to Roy and Freda (Uhrich) Whitmore. She graduated from Eaton High School in 1948. On January 22, 1950 she married Kenneth Lee Schott from Greeley, the love of her life. Kenneth and Beverly farmed for 15 years in the Eaton area. The family moved to Greeley where she continued to raise her 4 boys, worked at Carlson’s Hut in Evans, retired and continued to be the heartbeat of the family in the home she lived in for 57 years. Beverly was a devoted wife and loving mother who cared for her family deeply. She was a wonderful person to everyone and everyone she met loved her. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Douglas (Brandy) Schott of Lancaster, CA, Dennis (Angelika) Schott of Windsor, CO, Dean (Jennifer) Schott of Greeley; grandchildren, Kimberly (Curtis) Lucas of Waco, TX, Kevin (Sarah) Schott of Rosamond, CA, Kelsey Schott of Lancaster, CA, Makayla Schott of Greeley and Kenneth (KJ) Schott of Greeley; great grandchildren, Isabella and Elliette Lucas of Waco, TX; sisters, Carol Whitmore of Northglenn, CO, Dixie Rutterford of Eaton, Sharon (Bill) McKay of Nunn, CO, Trish Young of Eaton, Linda (Will) Owens of Greeley; adopted daughter, Tina Zimmerman of Breckenridge, CO; adopted grandchildren, Hannah Lane of Greeley and Emily Gustafson of Breckenridge and numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Schott; son, David Schott; brothers, Calvin and Kenneth Whitmore; sisters, Shirley Hyde and Judy Riggs. Viewing 10-11 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Evangelical Free Church of Eaton, 1325 3rd Street, Eaton, CO. Interment in Eaton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to "Alzheimer’s Association” in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeely CO 80634.
