Josephine "Josie" E. Moralez

Josephine "Josie” Moralez of Greeley went to be with our Lord on November 5, 2019. Josie was born March 19, 1936 west of Ault, CO to Yasias and Guadalupe Pisano Pisaña. On January 17, 1953 she married the love of her life, Tommy Moralez at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Josie enjoyed cooking, doing things for her family, fishing, sewing, watching sports and gambling. Josie is survived by her husband of 66 years, Tommy Moralez; their loving children, Nora (Sal) Flores, Linda (Danny) Martinez, Paul (Lupe) Moralez, Annette (Dave) Jimenez all of Greeley, Anna (Tony) Gonzales of Texas; grandchildren, Antoinette (Ray) Garcia, Daniel Martinez, Stephanie Martinez, Paul (Melissa) Moralez, Anthony (Stacy) Moralez, Jolyn (Craig) Walter, Jazlyn Jimenez all of Greeley, Vanessa (Aaron) Garcia of Denver, Valeen (Shane) Maisonet and Aaron Gonzales of Texas; 22 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and a special Niece, Frances Moralez and her daughter, Rebecca Borrego. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Michael, Ramon and Frankie Pisaña; sister, Nellie Cervantes and one great granddaughter, Ashley Moralez. Services include viewing at 10:00 a.m. followed by Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd Street. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow the interment at VFW Post 2121 in Garden City.
